Auto Shows, Motorcycle Motorcycles at Concours d'Elegance - Click above for high-res image gallery We couldn't possibly meander our way through the field of classic machinery at the Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance without pointing our DSLR lenses in the direction of the beautiful collection of motorcycles gathered on the grounds of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. This year, British twin-cylinder motorcycles were one of the special features of the show, and all of the usual suspects were out in full force. Scroll through our gallery below to see meticulously restored Triumphs, BSAs, Nortons (including this nice John Player replica), AJSs and Royal Enfields. Looking a bit deeper into some of the more rarified air, we stumbled upon a Vincent or two, along with a bike from Jay Leno's British brand of choice, Brough Superior. We even managed to snap off a few shots of a 1950 Douglas, which mounted its horizontally-opposed cylinders in the opposite direction of the better known format from BMW.
